Case Analysis
Instruction: Read the Following Case and Provide Smart Analysis as Required
Assume that ABC Company has engaged in automobiles production in Ethiopia. The business
environment in which the company operates is characterized by stiff competition, critical community,
committed employees and strong management. However, employees of the company recently complain
unfair treatment, unjust workload and job dissatisfaction, the society hesitate unethical business
practices, and the investors are not satisfied with the profit level of the company. The worst thing, the
owners of the Company has lost confidence from the current management and thinking of firing some
of the top officials. Because of this, the management is recently facing acute challenges from the
shareholders, employees and the society, and requested you to advise them on how to resolve the
problems as an organizational behavior expert.

On the basis of the case provided, write an advising essay of not less than ten pages focusing on the
following major points as a business consultant in organizational behavior:

1. Factors to be considered in understanding and shaping individual behavior.

2. Establishing supportive and strong team at different levels to achieve efficiency and
productivity.
3. Motivation as a means of creating job satisfaction and increasing organizational
commitment.
4. Management of serious stress currently reducing productivity affecting both employees
and management.
5. Establishing attractive work environment, culture and effective management of diversity
as an opportunity.

Terrence E. Deal, and paradigm shift in Organizational Behavior.
