The details of the Assignment are mentioned below.

Points to Note before beginning the assignment:

• This is a Group Assignment

• Divide yourselves into groups as given in the Document named Group Details

• Submit the assignments by 27th June 2021

• Only one submission must be done from each group by the Group Representative

• Submit the assignments to internship_pls@zixa.world

• At the beginning of the Final Submission clearly mention the following

a) Name of the Group Representative

b) Group Number

c) Name of all the students and their colleges in the Group

d) Project Proposal

• The subject of the mail should be “Assignment II Group (name of your group)”

• Please write the name of the group representative and group members in the assignment
document and not as the email body.

• Submit the Assignment as an editable Word Document.

Assignment I
Traffic Personnel are the heroes of the road. While managing traffic, they get exposed to vehicle
exhaust pollution, noise pollution, and sunburns. During the pandemic, they have risked their lives to
protect ours. Most traffic personnel in Kerala are not provided with government-issued protective gear
to spend many hours on the road. Yet, with a limited workforce, they try their best to manage the
overwhelming traffic.

Objective :
How would you formulate a system that can provide a safe and risk-free working environment
for Traffic Personnel? Prepare a project proposal to submit to the Kerala Police highlighting new
methods and materials required to keep them safe. An exceptional project from the ones submitted
will receive assistance to submit and implement the proposal to the Kerala Police.

Include the problems faced by Traffic personnel on roads, what safety gears they are supplied
with now, what more could be added, how you would collaborate with companies or NGOs for this
motive and plan finances, how you would develop a system of deployment etc.
