The dynamic stiffness matrix of the considered structure has been built by using a procedure of assembling continuous elements of cylindrical shells and annular shells in contact with elastic foundations. Solutions on natural frequencies and harmonic responses obtained by our formulation are compared to results of other approaches and to those of FEM to demonstrate the advantages of CEM: higher precision, time and resources of computing saved, size model reduced even in medium and high frequency range. In addition, the influences of shell and foundation parameters are also investigated in this research. Keywords— Dynamics stiffness matrix, Continuous Element Method, composite shell, shells on elastic foundation, ring-stiffened cylindrical shells, vibration of shell.
