Dear Rocio,

We are pen pals. We are Meylin from France is 36 years old, Lina from Brazil is 29 years
Old and Heidy from Japan is 26 years old. In France, they celebrate the Grand Tasting
festival considered the best wine festival takes place for two days in December. In Brazil,
the soundtrack that characterizes us is samba and we are passionate about soccer. In Japan,
the traditional costume is kimono and yukata and they love to eat sushi. This experience of
pen pals we have learned about our cultures, customs and to improve our level of English.

Based on our experiences, as pen pals, we tell you that use social networks; Facebook,
WhatsApp, Instagram and we send each other emails to keep in touch. We talk about our
daily routine, we upload stories of our favorite places visited during the week, in the groups
on these pages, we upload movies, songs, videos and poems that we like and it helps us to
improve the language.

If we win the competition, we will visit Cambridge in England, it is a perfect place to

navigate the canals and see the beautiful scenery. We will also visit the Farne Island where
you can see seals and seabirds climbing on the rocks. We will not miss the international
Balloon festival party where we can see many balloons flying through the sky of different
designs and we could not return without visiting the park The Lake District to see its
beautiful landscapes, take photography and walk. In England they are punctual, for them it
is an offense to be later. They never raise their voices and do not take a lot of trust with
people unless they are close friends.
