D-IV Study ProgramMedical Laboratory Technology Thesis, July 2019 INTAN NIRWANA MASMUDA (A201701095) "PROBLEM SOLVINGDISTANCE ON THEOF WESTGARD MULTIRULE SYSTEM ON QUALITY CONTROL INTERNAL GLUCOSE IN LABORATORY OF KENDARI CITY HOSPITAL " Counselor I : Sri Anggarini Rasyid, S.Sc., M.Sc. Counselor II : Satriani Syarif, S.Sc., M.Sc Health laboratory as a medical support service unit, in terms of prevention, treatment disease, and health recovery is expected to provide accurate and accurate information. Guarantee accuracy and precision can be achieved if ATLM has the ability to detect deviations (troubleshoot) that occur in the process of serum control checks then analyze the causes of these deviations and determine alternative actions to make improvements (problem solving). Westgard multirule system is a standard that is used to assess irregularities in the control serum examination in the laboratory and can determine the type of error (systematic error or random error). This type of research is descriptive research with analytic design that is observing the ATLM action that reads glucose control, assesses deviations from the standard Westgard multirule system then determines the type of error and makes corrections according to the type of error that occurs (problem solving), simultaneously. The sample in this study were laboratory personnel who carried out internal quality stabilization of 2 samples. The results found that there were 3 deviations namely 1-2S, 2-2S, 1-3S. This shows the provisions of the warning, systemic errors and random errors. Problem Solving carried out by laboratory personnel, namely changing of reagents, reading standards / calibrators, reading new controls. For officers who do serum control readings should pay attention to the handling of control materials, especially the homogenization process time in order to provide precise control results and for further researchers it is recommended to examine more parameters to obtain a complete value of internal laboratory quality control.
