Happy things to do.....

1.Stay without switching on the fan


or the A/C for 30 minutes at least
,say 11 am- 11: 30 am

If you are engrossed with your work, you might


not experience the heat outside.
It is good to perspire - it cleans your skin
pores.
If the windows are open , there is cross
ventilation and this helps in air circulation. It
also helps you to appreciate the quality of air,
the weather better.
2.Walk barefoot on grass, soil or any
natural surface inside the house for 30
minutes.
If you walk barefoot on grass ,soil or any natural
surface, you connect to earth.
It is good to connect to the earth as it allows
you to sleep better.
It helps your immune system to get stronger and
helps you become calm.
3.EAT A MEAL for 20 minutes.

If you eat slowly without distractions like watching


tv, the laptop, the phone or a book, you
appreciate the food a lot more.

Your sense of taste is enhanced and the


nourishment that your body gets is also enhanced.
4.MAKE COLOURS AT HOME
1. Turmeric = yellow
2. Mustard = light yellow (just buy the seeds
and turn them to powder in your spice
grinder)
3. Any herb = dark green
4. Beet Root peels = red
5. Berries = depending on the berry color
6. Activated Charcoal = black
7. Arrowroot = white
8. Carrot peels = light orange

5.Observe the skies for 30 minutes in the
evening.

Use the colours you made to paint the colours


that you see in the skies.
Observing Nature's palette sharpens your sense of
wonder and nurtures your talent!!
6.Grow herbs at Home.

Use the containers you have and make your own


planters, add labels if you want to .
You can grow herbs like :
Mint
Coriander
Doddapatre or Cuban Oregano
Lemon grass
Spring Onion
7. Make a Salad

Use the herbs you have grown or the vegetable


you have bought to make a refreshing salad.

You can add chickpeas, walnuts; adding lime juice


with a little salt and powdered pepper will make
the salad tastier and healthier.
7. Learn a new Song

Learn a song from your grandparents, if possible.

Learning something from your grandparents or


elderly people will bring good cheer to them and
you .
8. Write a letter to a Doctor or
any health care worker
When you write or draw, your hands are working
in perfect synchrony with your mind.

You appreciate their work so much more when you


begin to write to a doctor or any health care
worker.And yes, they will feel extremely happy
too!!
9. Watch how the sunlight lights up a
space
What do you see? What do you wonder about
when you see the sun's golden rays lighting up a
space in your home?

You can write the date and write about what you
just wondered. Writing about what you wonder
keeps your imagination alive.
10. Create something for Nature

What do you like in Nature?


If you like fishes, you can make an aquarium.
If you like birds, you can make a bird house or
keep birdseed.
If you like butterflies, you can make a butterfly
garden with plants like mulberry, cosmos and
marigold.

as a family :

Clean up the house
