In exercise of the powers vested under Section 14(3Xa) of the Nationat Council
for Teacher Education (NCTE) Act, 1993, the Northern Regional Committee
grants recognition to Raja Ram Mohan Rey Institute of Vocational Studies,
Sector 27-D, Chindigarh, for N-T-T. of Two year from the academic session
2001-2002 with an annual intake of 100 (Hundred) students, subject to fulfiling
the following conditions: ‘
|. ‘The institution shall appoint 16 (Sixtech) teaching staff and supporting staff
possessing. the qualifications as laid down in the N.C:T.E. norms, before the
‘commencement of the academic session 2001-2002. in salary structure
prescribed by the UGC/Central Government /State Government as the case
may be. 2
‘The institution shall ensure library, laboratories and other instructional
infrastructure as per the NCTE norins.
3. The admission to the approved course shall be given only to those candidates
‘who are eligible as per the regulations governing the course and in the manner
hhid down by the affiliating University/State Government,
4, Ttion fee and other fees will be charged from the students as per the norms of
the affiliating University/State Government tll such time NCTE regulations in
respect of fee structure come into force. ;
5. Curriculum transaction, including practical _work/activities, should be
fexganised as per the norms’ and standitds for tWRHRE andl the requirements
of the affiliating University/Examining body.
6, Teaching days including practice teachirig should not be less than the number
fixed in the NCTE norm forthe course
‘The institution, if unaided, shall maintain endowment and reserve fund as per
NCTE norms,
8. ‘The institution shall continue to fulfil the norms Inid down under the
segulations of the NCTE and submit to the Regional Committee the Annual
Report and the Performance Appraisal Report at the end of each academic
year. The Performance Appraisal Report should inter alia. give the extent of
‘compliance of the conditions indicated at | to 7 above. ae

Chindigarh, contravenes the provisions of the NCTE Act or the rues, regulations
and orders made or issued thereunder or fails to fulfil the above conditions, the
Regional Comumitice may withdraw this recognition under the provisions of
Seotion 17(1) of the NCTE Act.
