Job Description For Cemetery Clerk
1. Update all burial accounts starting 1973 upto 2014. Make out separate
listings of :
unpaid plot rentals with known lessees or relatives,
another list for unpaid plot rentals with no lessee or known
relatives.
Physical Inventory of the dates of burials, conducted on
August 23 and 30,, should be the base reference when
computing rental charges.
Maintain soft and hard copy of all burial accounts.
2. Keep on file, envelopes for every buried church member. The envelope
should contain:
contract of lease signed by lessee,
Index card to record burial charges and payments,
and other pertinent documents.
3. Establish record of all unpaid burial accounts, prepare collection letters
to lessees or relatives of deceased persons duly signed by the
Administrative Pastor. The letter should be prepared in two copies, the
duplicate copy returned duly signed by the address.
