INTERPRETATIONS ON THE SEVENTH SAMPLING

1. This is the first time to test for heavy metals such as Mercury, Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium,
Copper, Chromium and Iron. Among the metals the most prevailing in all the sampling
sites was Iron and next was Lead. Copper and Chromium were also present but in a very
small level. In some sampling sites Cadmium were present but most sampling sited this
metal is in negligible amount. Mercury and Arsenic were in negligible amount in all
sampling sites. Therefore it advisable to investigate the sources of the metals present in
each particular sampling sites.

2. Regarding pH the following sampling sites must be investigated because of quite low
pH : S-12 (Low Tide) – 4.34 ; S-12 (High Tide) – 4.54 ; S-11 (High Tide) – 4.83 ; S-07 (Low
Tide) – 4.52 ; S-07 (High Tide) – 4.76.

3. Regarding Fecal Coliform the following sampling sites must be investigated the reason
for having level of 12,00,000 MPN/100 mL for T-01 (High Tide) and 2,400,00 for S-02
(Low Tide).

4. The Confidence Interval after the sixth sampling are already computed. See separate
sheets.
