Crossflow is a technology long used in other beverages but this years the frst time ‘many manufacturers ate now using it for bee,” said Bagato “The days of PAD or earth filtration lok like they are numbered ‘We're excited to see cross flow take its place in craft breweries.” ‘Another new technology causing waves inthe industry is collapsible kegs lke KeyKeg. “They offer significant cost saving as they canbe disposed of after use, eliminating the need for washing the keg or organising return transport. They ate much lighter than metal kegs so can be stacked four on top ofeach other, so brewers ae geting economies of scale on each pallet,” said Baggio. “Any opportunity to reduce supply chain costs is good news for brewers and beer drinkers. Cllapsible kegs are being used in the UUSand in Europe and think will be only a matter of time before Australian brewers get on board.” Winter 2016 23 WHERE TO START Providing fll spectrum of brewing cequipmentis FB"PROPAK which does not work with, nor supply ast one ‘rand or sizeof bre “With a the very least thee to four supply chain lines in ech product category and ll in-house engineering toservice and support the products delivered, the team are squarely solutions driven with process and price each being able tobe alored to customers," said Bagg.
