Sojiwan temple is located in central Java, Indonesia, near the Prambanan Temple.

Some of you might


not know teh exact location of this Temple. It is located in the middle of residences. Sojiwan Temple
previously wreckage, not interesting at all, however, it has just been renovated and opened in the
last 2011. It is relatively a new tourist object.

The characteristic of this temple is almost similar to the Prambanan Temple’s. It has high and narrow
dimensions. Different from Prambanan Temple as a Hindu’s temple, this temple was a combination
between Hindu’s and Budha’s temple. Some parts of the temple represent the Buddhist, while the
structure is almost similar to Prambanan Temple ( a Hindu’s temple ).

The most interesting parts of this temple are the reliefs. There was a fable about Jetake stories on
the wall of Sojiwan Temple. One of the stories is about a monkey that tricked a crocodile in passing
throught a river (a famous fable from Java).
