The Atmospheric Air The ambient air that we breathe contains approximately 78% Nitrogen, 21 % Oxygen, 0.9% Argon and the rest other trace gases. The most economic and easy method for separating the Oxygen gas from the ambient atmospheric air mixture fusing the PSA Technology What is PSA Technolog} Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) is a ‘eon Used to separate some gas species from a mixture of gases under pressure according to the species’ molecular characteris- tics and affinity for an adsorbent material. It operates at near-ambient temperatures and so differs from cryogenic distilation techniques of gas separation. Special adsorptive materials are used as a molecular sieve, preferentially ad sorbing the target gas species at high pressure. The process then swings to low pressure for desorbing the adsorbent material Using two adsorbent vessels allows near-continuous pro- duction of the target gas. It also permits so-called pres- sure equalization, where the gas leaving the vessel being de-pressured is used to partially pressurize the second ves- sel, This results in significant energy saving, It is a common industrial practice where also another application area is the Oxygen Concentrators. The oxygen generator consists of compressor, two large sieve beds, a valve assembly, air filters, flowmeter, main pressure regulator, and the product, tank. As a rough figure, the system works out like at this diagram. In detail, compressed air is taken from the atmosphere, fi tered intensively and sent into a bed containing a molecu- lar sieve of Zeolite. As the air is forced through the Zeolite, the nitrogen attaches to it and the oxygen passes through tobe given from the outlet while passing from the flowme- tet for adjustment of the desired flow rate. The bed will be eventually loaded up with nitrogen, so it must be flushed periodically which is called “exhaust”. Two beds are cycled to load and unload the Zeolite for producing a continuous stream of Oxygen gas. But the system keeps on running and still supplying to the user as much Oxygen as it can, AF The Alarm Memory Facility This device has the ability of keeping the records of last 4 alarms in its memory with the exact time of alarms given, thus the technical service authorized personnel could have a better idea about the device and the failure, No other homecare Oxygen Concentrator has this option as “defa- ult”. A key lock exits for seeing this information screen on the LCD. When a new alarm occurs, the oldest one will be erased from the memory. The Filter System ‘There is the Gross Particle Filter Rectangular, Fine Particle Filter-Round, Felt Filter-Round, Pall Filter at the air intake and a Bacteria Filter before the outlet. The filters which should be replaced or periodically cleaned are placed "easy to teach” for supporting “user friendly” environment. No screw to deal with or no need to disassemble any cover. Also there is another filter at the back side of the device ‘which filters the cooling air from Gross particles while be- ing taken from outside. And More... The design of the device is protective for keeping the Bubb- le Humidifier against any possible impacts or crushes that ight cause breaking the bottle.
