    Velocity tarball will help to convert Evolution loaded X7 terminals into Velocity.

    This package
    already contains SES specific Constellation File (beam_map.json) and x509 Certificate (Global
    PKI.cert) with baseline Velocity software (1.6.1.10-187).

    The procedure use the tarball…

    1. Copy (using WinSCP) the tarball (velocity.tgz) into “/common” folder in terminal
    2. Login into terminal console, extract the tarball and make script executable
    # cd /common
    # tar zxvf velocity.tgz
    # cd velocity
    # dos2unix install_velocity.sh
    # chmod +x install_velocity.sh
    3. Run the script to install Velocity software (1.6.1.10-187) on partitions 5 & 6 and wait for
    reboot
    # ./install_velocity.sh
    4. After terminal reboots, connect to Terminal Web UI (IP: 192.168.0.1)

    a. Upload terminal specific configurations file (Terminal_OPT and


    Terminal_LAN_OPT provided by SES)

    b. Reboot the terminal

    c. Complete terminal commissioning


    d. Reboot the terminal

    5. Login into terminal console and clean-up the package files (optional, suggested)
    # cd /common
    # rm –rf velocity velocity.tgz
