Happy Blessed Holy Sabbath Thank you for joining us here at WPSDA church for Sabbath School.
We’ve come together to acknowledge, worship and reverently sing praises to the most high. In the English language
“most high” is wrongly used when describing levels of height. It is not used to describe rank or title or position. We’ll
say the highest position. It is only correctly used to describe the Lord of Lords. So God Most High or LORD Most High
means that there is nothing , no created being exalted above Yahweh, the LORD, because He is superior in every
way. ʼĒl ʻElyōn Elohim 'God Most High' occurs in Genesis 14:18–20 as the God whose priest was Melchizedek, He
then blessed Abram daying,Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

Psalm 47:2 - For the Lord Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth

Isaiah 14:14
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
2 Samuel 22:14

The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

Daniel 4:2 says, “It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done for me.”

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the
Almighty.

Psalm 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
To the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever." 1 Timothy 1:17.

“Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of
unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts” (Isaiah 6:5).
When a man is humbled before God, then reverence toward Him will automatically follow because
worship then becomes about God the creator instead of self, and such worship will then permeate
every area of life. 

The glory and majesty of God are displayed in every attribute of God because they are infinite. God is eternal
because He is infinite with respect to time. God is omnipresent because He is infinite with respect to space. God
is omniscience because He is infinite in knowledge. God is omnipotent because He is infinite in power. God is
sovereign because He is infinitely above all else. God is the only infinite being and that sets Him apart from

The God of the Bible is glorious and majestic in every respect and even a cursory overview of Him as Creator
and His creation should humble all men for God Himself points to these things to humble men.

God does not demand respect, His whole being commands the respect of every created being.

“Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?

1 Chronicles 29:11

the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;

You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.

Genesis 28:17

He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of
heaven.”

Perhaps the greatest tragedy of the church at the beginning of the 21st century is that it seems to
have lost its reverence for God. In our day, God is viewed as our cosmic "buddy", who is always
there to help us when we need it

Hallowed be Thy Name

“Uphold the holiness of Your name.” (Common English Bible)
“Let Your name be kept holy.” (God’s Word Translation)
“May Your name be honored.” (J. B. Phillips translation)
“May Your name always be kept holy.” (New Century Version)
 Early in their evening prayers, Jews will say, “You are holy, and Your Name is
holy, and Your holy ones praise You every day. Blessed are You, Adonai, the God
who is holy.”
Holy reverend sacred hallowed set apart let us think of His name with reverence and godly fear.

With reverence let Thy saints appear No 4.

With reverence let the saints appear,

And bow before the Lord;
His high commands with reverence hear,
And tremble at his word.

How terrible thy glories be!

How bright thine armies shine!
Where is the power that vies with thee,
Or truth compared to thine?
O Jesus Lord of earth and heaven Our Joy our life to Thee, Be honor thanks and blessing given thru all
eternity
