A Note On This Menu…
All our amazing food is made with great love and care especially for your child’s special birthday.

For lots of our kid’s birthday clients this is their first time working with a professional catering company, so we thought we would give you lots of information so you can
be sure to relax, knowing just what to expect from the experience and our food!

As a professional catering business the service we provide is available at a premium. Please understand that most of the items on our menu are time consuming and
require attention to detail, accordingly our pricing is based on the time required to create each item in addition to the ingredients used.

Bookings & Dates


Please do enquire about your specific date as soon as you can. Our availability can book out very quickly so if you wish to confirm a booking with us we will need a
confirmed menu asap. We do require full payment in advance in order to cement your booking. In the case of booking more than 2 months in advance a smaller booking
deposit to hold the date will be sufficient.

Minimum Orders & Pricing


Minimums apply for Standard Set Menus or Paleo/Allergy Friendly Menus, as below:

 Must meet a strict minimum of 12 children +.


 For delivery orders a minimum order total of $400 + delivery is also required.
 For Pick Up orders our minimum order total is $250.

 Perhaps consider ordering food for the adults from our Adults Nibbles Menu
 No Minimums on Easy Party Food Package Orders.

Menu Options
We have four different types of menus available to suit the needs of different families.

Party Set Menus – Our standard menus, to suit most needs

Easy Party Food Packages – Perfect for ordering ahead or if your order does not meet the minimum spend

Allergy Friendly Menu – Designed to suit the Paleo family or the needs of a special guest with specific dietary needs

Adults Nibbles Platters – A small selection from our larger Platters Menu great to have on hand for the adults at the party

Delivery & Venues


We are happy to deliver to your home or venue at the pre-determined time. We advise clients to book delivery in for more less than 20 minutes prior to the planned
serving time. We do not recommend arranging delivery for the day before the party as our items are at their best the day they are made. Please allow up to 20 minutes
leeway in your delivery booking time due to potential delays due to traffic, parking or prior deliveries.

Delivery charges advised on request to quote. For any orders not involving platters to collect a one way delivery charge will apply. All orders required to be delivered on
our white porcelain platters will incur a two way delivery charge to collect. Pickups are not permitted.

If you would like use of our platters for your party these will be required to be washed, counted and stacked ready for collection by our driver, usually the next working
day. If your venue is not accessible to our driver these platters will need to be pre-arranged with our office to be collected from your home. This may change the
delivery charge, dependant on location.

Thank you for selecting to work with Sauce on your up and coming function. We have prepared this information to assist with your planning process and ensure
your catering experience is excellent!

In order to book your order we do need written confirmation. We’re often fully booked, so to avoid disappointment:
1. After receiving your order or quote request Sauce will send an Order Confirmation/Invoice.
2. Once you have received the Order Confirmation/Invoice from Sauce, all orders must be confirmed & approved in writing by client.
3. All details should be checked by client to avoid any mistakes or miscommunication. While all efforts are made to ensure orders are correct we do require clients to
check carefully all information to ensure accuracy as final responsibility rests with the client to ensure their order is complete and correct. A simple written
approval of advice or required charges is to be given via email.
4. In order to avoid disappointment in the case of the date being fully booked and in order to give our kitchen sufficient time to produce your order, please confirm
this order by the date specified on your Order Confirmation.

All food is sent in boxes to retain the quality of food. Refrigeration is the clients responsibility once delivery is accepted.
Food is delivered cold, any items that require heating will have heating instructions on them and will be presented on platters that can go into ovens if needed for ease
of service. Caution is required however as platters will be very hot upon coming out of the oven.
If you require any items to cater to special dietary requirements these will be plated separately and labelled as such.
Napkins are supplied with all orders.

Delivery schedules are usually finalised the week of the function once the day is fully booked. We will advise a delivery window within 5 days of your function.
Please specify a window of availability for the delivery, from 4 hours prior to the function, but not less than 30 minutes prior to planned service time, in order to ensure
our delicious food reaches you in time.
Please allow a leeway of 30 minutes for delivery due to a possible backlog. This allows for any delays in delivery due to traffic, parking or hold ups at prior deliveries.
Please send any instructions for our driver on access to your property, parking, dogs onsite or right of way access. For functions at a venue please supply any similar
information.

Every order is sent with a Delivery Docket detailing the equipment supplied, so you can ensure everything is returned to us. Most platters, ramekins etc are also
labelled with Sauce Catering.
We require all equipment to be cleaned, counted and stacked ready for collection.
In the case of functions at venues where cleaning is not possible we are able to offer a Cleaning Service for our equipment which will be charged for. If possible please
advise of this requirement prior to the function.

Day of pick up will be arranged prior to delivery. If your function is at a venue please specify whether pick up access is possible & flexible from the venue or if the gear
needs to be collected from your residence, at time of order so we can accurately calculate your delivery charges.
For pickups from your home, if no one will be there to meet our driver please advise a safe place you will leave the gear, not visible from the road, that our driver can
freely access to collect everything.
Return visits to collect lost or misplaced items, or if items are not available for collection on first trip, will be charged for.

To avoid any confusion, in the event of the cancellation of all or part of your order or any changes or additions, please inform us in writing and a Cancellation of Order
or updated invoice will be sent from Sauce to confirm this. Cancellation fees may be incurred dependant on the size of your function and the length of notice
provided to Sauce of cancellation. In the case of a cancellation within 24 hours no refund will be provided.
Any reduction in numbers of over 20% within 24 hours’ notice will also result in a Cancellation Charge.

As communicated at the time of your enquiry our availability fluctuates and our services do on occasion book out. Your function will not be considered 100% booked
and confirmed until payment has been received. To avoid disappointment we advise prompt payment of your invoice or requesting of booking deposit in order to
secure your date at the earliest convenience.

 By placing an order with Sauce Catering clients are agreeing to these terms displayed on our website, all online menus & your invoice.
 Menu prices are current at the time of publishing however Sauce Catering reserves the right to update these prices as & when necessary.
 Credit Card Payments will incur a surcharge of 3.5% of total invoice.
 Sauce Catering payment terms for private orders are full payment a minimum of 10 days prior to the event.
 For bookings within 4 weeks of function date full payment is required in order to confirm your booking. When bookings are in advance of 4 weeks or the case of
very large functions a deposit will be required to secure the booking, with the balance due 10 days prior to the function.
 Any costs incurred during functions such as but not limited to, breakages, loss, or staff working longer than estimated will be invoiced for and shall be paid within
7 days of invoice date.
 2.5% interest (compounding weekly) may be charged on any outstanding amounts with all recovery costs charged back to the client.
