Situation:
As of 0630 09/16/2013 a Somali Armed Forces platoon along with four Special Activities
Division operatives have gone MIA, while performing early morning patrol lessons. At 0800
Commander of the SAF called upon another platoon strength of mechanized SAF to hunt down
and find their whereabouts.

This platoon was hit by Somali Rebels and took several casualties in the town of Elsaville.
Reports are that they removed the enemy from the town and pushed on without their casualties,
hoping to catch up with the MIA patrol. They set up a CCP with a few local doctors at 074074.
The SAF have scrambled another platoon to move to the CCP and withdraw the casualties.

Mission Briefing:
Task of units:
Operatives at the Swagga airfield will move with the SAF platoon, heading to the SAF CCP at
074074 to provide in field training and support. Once this has been accomplished, operatives
will RTB with the SAF platoon and await further instructions.

Execution:
● Gear up at the lockers provided (S.A.D)
● Load extra kit, ammo, medical and extra needed supplies in VICs (SAF and S.A.D)
● Work out order of march (SAF Plt Cmd & S.A.D Team Lead)
● Commence Operation
