PRACTICAL 1
AIM: Simulation of Resistive network.
APPARATUS: LTSpice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take any amout of resistors needed to test the resistive network and a
voltage source.

2. Now connent all components correctly and attach a ground.
3. Now analyse the DC output for the network.

OBSERVATION:
DC output of the resistive network is observed and also the concept of mesh
and nodal analysis is also verified.

Conclusion:
By this experiment we have studied about resistive networks and found the
current flowing through the resistor and node voltages.

PRACTICAL 2
AIM: Simulation of R-L, R-C and R-L-C circuits.
APPARATUS: LT Spice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. Now simulate the software.

OBSERVATION:
The transient analysis of R-L,R-C and R-L-C networks were observed and
verified.

CONCLUSION:
The theoretical conclusions matched the practical observations and the
analysis was done.

AIM: Simulation of Network Theorems
APPARATUS: LTSpice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. Now simulate the software.

OBSERVATION:
The dc output of the various network theorems were observed and verified.

CONCLUSION:
In this simulation we studied various network theorems and simulated it in the
software.

AIM: Simulation of clipper and clamper circuits.
APPARATUS: LT Spice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. Now simulate the software.

OBSERVATION:
Waveform of positive and negative clipper and clamper circuits were observed.

CONCLUSION:
The diode application, clipper and clamper circuits, were studied and simulated
and LT spice software.

AIM: Simulation of Half wave and Full wave rectifiers.
APPARATUS: LT spice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. To use inductors as a transformer use .op function to induce a
transformer relationship between the inductors.
3. Now simulate the software.

OBSERVATION:
The waveforms of half wave and full wave rectifier circuits were observed and
verified.

CONCLUSION:
In this experiment we studied about rectifier circuits and studied its use.

AIM: Simulation of filter circuits

PROCEDURE:

OBSERVATION:
The AC analysis of low pass and high pass filters was done.

CONCLUSION:
In this practical we studied about the high pass and low pass filter circuits and
studied its analysis.

OBSERVATION:
In this experiment the I-V characteristics of p-n junction diode and Zener diode
were observed.

CONCLUSION:
In this simulation we studied about the diodes and its characteristics.

PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. Now simulate the software.

OBSERVATION:
In this practical the input and output characteristics of npn transistor was
observed.

In this practical the we observe the different type of biasing of transistor.

CONCLUSION:
In this experiment we studied the biasing of the transistor. It’s working in
different biasing condition.

Aim: Simulation of negative feedback circuits.

APPARATUS: LT Spice simulation software
PROCEDURE:
1. Take all the components required and connect them in a neat and
proper way with ground terminal.
2. Now simulate the software.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:

OBSERVATION:
In this practical the we observe that the output waveform of the op-Amp is
different then input waveform.

CONCLUSION:
In this experiment we studied that when we put op-Amp circuit to any input
waveform we get inverted output waveform.

PRACTICAL NO 13

Aim: to design a circuit for inverting and non- inverting Op-Amp
amplifier circuit using LT-spice design and simulation software

Apparatus: LT-spice simulation software.

Procedure:

● Construct the circuit diagram of both the Op-Amp circuits using


various components and connect them as per above circuit diagram.
Also add the subroutine from a library to call Op-Amp.

● Assign values to the components. Here, in inverting Op-Amp,


V1=10V, R1= 1k ohms, R2= 1meg ohms. In non-inverting Op-Amp,
R1= 1meg ohms, R2= 1meg ohms, V1= 10V.

● Now, simulate the circuit and provide the


D.C. sweep for comparing input and output voltages.

● Observe the waveforms and check their accordance with the


theoretical relations.

Observation: Hence we draw the observations, on accounts of the
relationship between input and output voltages of the Op-Amp
circuits, that

Conclusion: Hence we simulate the inverting and non-inverting Op-


Amp circuits and observe their respective gains.
