- Adopt a word
Adopt a word is an intermediate class activity for people who are on
level three and on. In this activity the teacher ask the Ss to choose a
word they would like to adopt. Based on a table with headings the
teacher gave before, Ss starts searching.

After that, each student in the class must do a short presentation on
their adopted words. When they finish, they stick these words to the
classroom wall. Each time after the activity Ss will have quizzes about
the new words. This activity continues until the end of the year.

- Wall dictionary
Wall dictionary is an activity that suits kids in primary classes in level
one. It helps Ss with alphabet and words spelling. At first, teachers use
a big paper for the background then sew 26 buckets on that paper and
label each bucket with an alphabet letter. In addition, to attract your Ss
(who are most likely going to be kids) you have to use colorful materials
in this activity. This activity can be used at any time in different ways to
help improving the Ss skills in spelling. For example, making the class
listen to words and then choose the right letters from the bucket to
spell the words.
