SUBJECT: Extraordinary maintenance on the roof of the San Tommaso infirmary

Following up regarding your kind request for a proposal, we are pleased to submit to you the
technical and cost proposal in question:
- Disassembly of all the broken tiles of the roof to be moved to the ground and cleaned.
- Cleaning of the wooden base of the roof.
- Application of a primer on the wood.
- Application of an adhesive sheath for waterproofing.
- Repositioning of the tiles and fixing of the last row with mortar.

Damaged or missing tiles will be counted in the final balance of old used tiles found and
repaired: the current price of such tiles is € 2.00 a piece. From the inspection carried out, there
are no major breaks or flaws, so 50 tiles will be sufficient.

The work will take place at height of the roof and will be carried out with the aid of aerial lifting
equipment (aerial platforms) with operators who are qualified and authorized both in the
operation of the equipment as well as work at that height.

In addition, for the landing on the roof, a safety cable will be used where the operators will
anchor.

Different types of platforms and cranes will be used for handling the material.

Proposal cost per meter squared: € 70.00
