2. As a group, search for an article or journal that talks about how culture or the family or
spirituality affects the health status of an individual. Briefly explain what is the article all about
and how did it affect the health status. (Cite the article or journal)

3. Discuss what it means for a nurse to be culturally competent and why this is essential for
nursing assessment.
