MPK Mini 3:

Summary:

All units must have a firmware update applied.

Requirements:

 Windows 10 computer with available USB ports.

 Firmware updater: MPKmini3_Updater_v1.18_WIN
 USB 2.0 Cable

Steps:

1. Unzip the firmware updater to the computer that will be used for updating.
2. Double click to open the application called MPKmini3_Updater_v1.18.
a. If your computer issues the following message:

Click on More Info, and then select Run anyway.

3. Hold down Bank A/B + Prog Select on the MPK Mini 3.
4. While still holding down these buttons, connect USB cable from MPK Mini 3 to computer.
a. The screen on MPK Mini 3 should now say “Upgrade v01.00” or “Upgrade v01.03”
(depending when these units were made).
5. Hit “Connect” in the updater application.
a. The updater application will now say “Current version: v01.00 (or v01.03)” matching to
your unit.
6. Hit “Update” in the updater application.
7. Allow the update to proceed (~20 seconds).
8. Hit “OK” on the completion message.
9. Disconnect the USB cable from the MPK Mini 3.
10. Hold down Bank A/B + Prog Select and reconnect the USB cable.
11. Ensure the display shows “Upgrade v01.18”.
12. UPDATE COMPLETE.
