MADAGASCAR

madagascar is a island known as the malgash(madagascar) republic ,It is an island country in the
Indian Ocean, Covers an area of 590,000 km².Malgaş's population, which is estimated to be 23
million in 2014, is young . 78% of the population lives in the countryside and 22% of the population
in the city. Approximately 74% of the working population engage in agriculture.

Malgash and French are the official languages of the population

Madagascar continent left the India continent about 88 million years ago and the environment of
Madagascar allowed plants and animals to evolve. 90% of the wildlife of madagascar found here is
native in Madagascar. Madagascar has a unique ecosystem
baobab tree

Baobab tree can reach up to 18m in length. body circumference of the tree reaches 30 m and
diameter 9 m.
Indri
Madagascar is an endemic monkey. Indri has a beautiful voice that can be
heard even 3 km away.

Lemuridae
It lives in various parts of Madagascar. It spends most of its time in
trees and rarely lands on the ground.
Ring tailed lemur
A monkey native to Madagascar. Its striped tail is approximately 50 to 60 cm
longer than its body length. Unlike lemurs, it is active in most places .

About half of the population in Madagascar adhere to traditional religious


rituals. The traditional religion of Madagascar is concerned with the
connection between living and "Razana" (ancestors) Also, there is funeral
rites that people of madagascar regulary remove the body of their ancestor
and then wrap them with cover and then bury them.

Famadihana is an opportunity to cherish the memories of their


ancestors, strengthen family and community relationship and enjoy the
festive environment. People from neighboring villages are also invited to
feasts and offer food and rum, and musical entertainment.

Entertainment culture

There are many fun and games that have appeared in Madagascar. One of them
is "moringy".
Moringy is a traditional Madagascar martial art.
Moraingy is an unarmed, bare-fisted traditional style of martial art. It
originated in the 17th and 19th centuries. It is a popular spectator sport
in coastal areas. Each match lasts only one round and ends when one of the
fighters exits the arena, faints, is no longer able to defend himself, is
clearly unequal to the other, or is determined to be seriously injured.
In addition to sports, there are various types of games. the most common
is "fanorona", a type of board game is a strategy game for two players.

Madagascar's most iconic instrument, the "vahila" is made of bamboo and has a string.

Madagascar has a rich traditional culture in the field of music. It has its own distinctive musical genre
such as "salegy" "hiragasy"

Plastic arts are also popular in Madagascar, palm trees are used to make items such as carpets,
baskets, bags, and hats.

Wood carvings have attracted attention with their different styles. In 2008, Zafimaniry's traditional
wood carvings were declared a masterpiece of UNESCO's World Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Japan is an island country in east Asia. Japan is also known as the "Land of the Rising Sun". Japan is
famous for its history, cinema, music, anime, video games, rich cuisine, and important contributions
to science and modern.

 Japan's population is 126 million.


 Most of the country's land is mountainous, so most of the population is concentrated in the
plains. Japan has the most elderly population in the world. 30% of the population of Japan is
over 60 years old. however, the country suffers from having old population and low birth
rate.
 Japan is one of the most frequent destinations of severe earthquakes, volcanic mountains,
and changes in the sea.
 Japan is made up of more than 6,000 islands. its capital is Tokyo.
 Rice is widely consumed in Japanese cuisine. Japanese cuisine is known for the seasonality
of the food, the quality of ingredients and presentation.

Ramen
Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat stock broth known as ramen have become extremely
popular over the last century

Curry

Curry is so widely consumed that it can be called a national dish.[64]

Curry is another popular imported dish and is ranked near the top of nearly all Japanese surveys for
favorite foods.

Traditionally, Sumo is a national sport of Japan. Judo, karete, and kendo is quite interested in Japan
the purpose of Sumo wrestling is to get out the opponent from the ring. when the wrestlers touch
the ground except their soles of the feet, they fails the round.

 Kimono is an important dress of Japan culture. There are some differences in Kimonu such as
the lenght of sleeve of the kimono dress is short in married women but it is long in single
women
