Technical Data SIM EX 200

The SIMEX cuff M offers technical innovations and a smoothness of operation that was previously unheard
Feature highlights:
of in the field. • 50.000 hours running time of bulb
• 20.000 Lux

The SIMEX cuff M meets the specific requirements for the field of sub-glottal extraction in the mobile (out- •

the SIMEX cuff M can be adjusted to the individual circumstances of the patient.

Using the SIMEX cuff M allows secretions to be removed effectively from the subglottic region. This allows
the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) to be reduced significantly. This increases the quality
of life and adds essential safety when blocked cannulas are used. www.simexmed.de

Depending on the volumes of secretions output, the SIMEX cuff M minimises the effect of a column of se-
cretions on the cuff of the cannula. A disposable secretion container (250 ml) with integrated gelling agent is
used for disposal of the secretions.

Therapy-modulated operating mode

• The vacuum range can be set digitally from -10 to -300 mbar in steps of 10 mbar
• The operating and pause times for the pump can also be set individually, digitally.
• Drying out of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat can be prevented.

Further important benefits of the SIMEX cuff M

• safe treatment thanks to the vacuum monitoring and time monitoring, as well as the electronic self-monitor-
ing of the SIMEX cuff M itself
• simple and uncomplicated menu control, background colours in the display (yellow, blue, green and red)
