Australia

Book review
This book is talking about Australia. I chose this book because I went
to Australia for a few times and I like the environment there. It is
way better than Hong Kong.
I learnt many things in this book, like their living habit, culture,
natural landscape in Australia and so on. My favorite chapter is
chapter 3. It tell us about climate, vegetation and wildlife. I learnt a
new interesting animal that it is call the duck-billed platypus is one of
Australia’s most unusual animals. It’s mouth is like a duck’s beak
and it also lays eggs, but it is not a bird. It has fur and it feeds its
young on milk. It is very strange mammal.

I also like chapter 6. It let us know about how people farm in

Australia. The place in Australia is really big. Many people farm at
there so there are at least eight times as many sheep as people in
Australia. That makes fine wool still earns money for Australia. The
biggest sheep farms are in the dry grassland areas are called “sheep
stations”. There are also competitions for shearing sheep to see who
can shear the fastest.
