-St. Thomas Aquinas defines the virtue of justice as “the firm will to give persons their due.”

--we are not selfish

-justice, therefore, is giving people what is due to them as human persons.

-our church has bnever ceased reflecting on and proclaiming our Christian call to build a just and living
society. Over time, the teachings and exhortations on this subject came to be known as the Catholic
social teachings or doctrines.

hungry clothe the naked shelter the homeless and visit the sick

4 LOVE YOUR WORK

-Catholic teaching has always affirmed the value and dignity of human labor,

-as Christians, we must also understand and view human labor as a sharing in God’s creativity and
generosity.

-Christians are summoned to have a keen understanding of the integrity of creation.

-We have Christian obligation to have “a passionate care for our earth and environment.”
