1. What is the most convincing definition for you?

The most convincing definition of history for me is the one from John Jocob
Anderson which he says that "History is a narration of the events which have
happened among mankind, including an account of the rise and fall of nations, as
well as of other great changes which have affected the political and social condition
of the human race." That definition is what I can considered as very accurate
because personally I’ve grown up knowing that history is all about the great things
and experiences that happened in the past. And Anderson is right because I also
believe history is a matter of notable changes which gives huge influence too.

It is very significant for me to know our Filipino History simply because it
preserves the good old days of everyone which is something worth varying of. Aside
form that, knowing the Filipino history makes us play nearer to our foundation of
being. It also makes one nation whole and binds people together. Lastly, Filipino
History has it all- the past, present and the future of our nation so it must be known
and better understand by everyone of us.
