If I am the brand manager of Maggi Noodles, the key strategies I would take to create more
committed customer are as follows-
1. Quality plays an important role, the only reason why competitors like Yippee and
Knor Noodles came into picture is because of the incident that stated that Maggi
noodles have lead into it, which is harmful, because of which Maggi’s image was
tarnished in the market and the minds of people. So, in order to make more
committed customers Maggi has to never sacrifice on the quality.
2. Make Non-Sticky noodles, one of the flaws with Maggi is that it has non-Sticky
noodles, which its competitors don’t, and that’s the tagline Maggi’s competitors like
Yippee is using to sell their products, if Maggi can make non-Sticky noodles it can
chop of the competitor.
3. Create products in the same category- Maggi chow Mein maybe, easy to make,
Maggi Spaghetti and all the dishes that have Noodles in it.
