Question 1. Make a macro displaying sum and difference of two columns using the data given in
the Q1 dataset. Display all the steps of recording, running and storing a macro .

Step1. On Develop tab find Record Macro. And then type the Macro name, spaces are not
acceptable so use “Sum_of" format. Choose a shortcut key. Chose the designation to store the
macro. Type description if you Want. Then Click ok.

Step 2. Use the Short cut key to edit the macro.

Type the VBA function.


Step 3. Click Run. And save the file as .xlsm

Question 2. Make a workbook using a template. Give steps and attach the template in the google
classroom.

Step 1. Open Excel and go to New tab.


Step 2. Chose the preferred Template for your workbook.

Step 3. Click on Create and start typing.


Question 3. Give the steps for using Document Inspector.

Steps-

2. Click the File tab to access Backstage view.
3. From the Info pane, click Check for Issues, then select Inspect Document from the drop-
down menu.
4. Clicking Inspect Document
5. You may be prompted to save your file before running Document Inspector.
6. Document Inspector will appear. Check or uncheck boxes, depending on the content you
want to review, then click Inspect. In our example, we'll leave everything selected.
7. Inspecting the workbook
8. The inspection results will appear. In our example, we can see that our workbook contains
comments and some personal information, so we'll click Remove All on both items to
remove this information from the workbook.

10. When you're done, click Close.
