“CULTURE SHOCK” READING EXPLORATION –

ELEVENTH GRADE

1.- The figures proposed in the texts represent at

some point a real example of the consequences of the
real process in society.

2.- The fundamental concern of the first nations was

to be intimate around the flame and they did not
have school or commercial activities as a priority.

3.- In a process of settling in a person who arrives to

an unknown region, facing a process of adaptation
that finally can become particularly uncomfortable in
the place that was his/her homeland.

4.- Do you believe that this process of cultural

adaptation will always be fulfilled, in that established
order?

5.- Do you think that people who will travel to

another country, who have the command of the
language, ¿besides living with relatives will go through
this process of cultural and psychological changes?
