TILT ROTOR AIRCRAFT V-22 Osprey Model designed by Christian Chua The V-22 is the world’s first production tiltrotor aircraft being manufactured through a colaboration by Bell helicopters and Boeing (Bell-Boeing). It can operate as a helicopter when taking off i irborne, the nacelles are able to rotate forward 90 degrees for horizontal flight. It can perform verti- cal take off and landing (VTOL) missions as effectively as a conven- tional helicopter while also having the long-range cruise abilities of a twin turboprop aircraft.
