On August 11, 2021 in Kabul Afghanistan a group of protestors were attacked by the terrorist
group called the Taliban. The protestors were trying to prevent the terrorist group from gaining
absolute dominance over the only area that hasn’t fallen victim to their control in Afghanistan so
in order to fight back they raised the nation’s flag which is used to symbolize independence
while taking down the Taliban flag. This caused the group to retaliate by shooting into the air
and attacking some of the protestors with batons to break down the crowd. Unfortunately the
group took control over Kabul on August 18 which only sparked one more protest by a group of
women which also failed.

On Saturday Morning the day before tropical storm Grace passed through St. Thomas and St.
John both islands experiences multiple power outages. This first power outage was caused
because a major generator breaking down and took a while to be fixed because of the repairs that
were required to fix it completely. The solution to this problem could be attributed to a few
major customers who chose to come off their generators which gave WAPA workers more room
to work on the grids. Unfortunately this method wouldn’t work on Sunday when both districts
would go through another power outage at 12:20 PM. It took until 5:50 PM to restore power due
to their equipment limitations. The tropical storm caused isolated power outages instead of
island wide black outs, but outside of that there were no major damages

This is a story which gives reader’s the logic of an anti-vaccinator even when being urged to get
vaccinated. At the Lake of Ozarks people wonder “What’s Covid?” With Missouri being a
COVID-19 hotspot and having one of the lowest vaccination rates people in this area are
interacting with each other every day without social distancing or wearing masks. “I’m living,
breathing proof- I’ve not been sick once. I’ve been as hands-on as you can be with people from
everywhere”. These are the words of Erin an anti-vaccinator who believes since her immune
system “works” and that people die from getting the vaccine why should she get it? Why should
Erin pump her body with a vaccine filled with something that she doesn’t know what’s in it?
Why are they giving it out for free? Anti- Vaccinators even influence those who wear masks and
social distance by harassing them in the case of Brittany Hanlon. While walking through Wal-
Mart one day she was harassed by others who didn’t believe in wearing masks saying that seeing
Brittany wearing a mask was making them “Uncomfortable”.
