Learning Strategies (opinion)

By: Soveivis Hernández M.

I consider that as teachers we should always look for strategies that contribute to the
development of our students.
It is necessary to emphasize in the first place that the learning strategies are produced due to
the needs of the students at the moment of beginning the learning process. It is necessary
that we look for affective strategies that help create and maintain adequate internal and
external climates for learning. Many of the aforementioned authors agree on three types of
strategies: cognitive, metacognitive, and resource management strategies.
The teacher must put into practice different strategies that allow him to make learning
meaningful and achieve the goals that are proposed in the teaching and learning process, in
addition to having knowledge in terms of instruments and techniques that allow him to
evaluate the process, the acquisition of knowledge of the students.
