Google processes two-out-of-three Internet queries made each day. We search for many
things in life – we search for love, happiness, health, and search for answers to the
questions of our times. We all wonder WHY. What did the world wonder “why?” about in
the year 2020? Google tracks searches on an individual country basis as well as globally.
Lists are based on search terms that had the highest spike this year as compared to the
previous year.

c) Discuss the reasons for the similarities and difference which occur between your
search and top trends.
Ans) The reason for the similarities of these topics are simple, as I am using social media
platforms and all the hot topics discussed there in the form of facts, memes vlogs or vines
like if I am talk about dalgona coffee so I see lots of stories and vlog on dalgona coffee on
Instagram so I search for this, as I like coffee and I believe that majority of people drink
coffee on a average 5 times in a week and some can’t even start their day with having
coffee so the similarity of searching dalgona coffee is liable
On the other hand if I talk about any web series or web shows like Mirzapur or Money
heist than we can understand this, that the people have different taste in term of
entertainment as some people like action related movies, web shows and some people
tend to believe in romance related movies or web shows. It further divided into many
categories like regional and linguistic actor and director preference also varies in this case
d) Why do you think it is important for marketers to study these trends? Discuss any

better business in current times
Ans) Google Trends is an extremely useful tool for both digital marketers and Marketers.
The tool provides valuable insight into the relative popularity and interest in search
terms/topics over a period of time. It also provides information about the location of
searchers and the types of search that people use (image, video, news articles, and
web.The 3 applications of these trends that helps organisation to helped them to achieve
better business in current time are as follows:-
1.Video Marketing
Video Marketing is also one of the top digital marketing trends in 2021 and likely to be at
the top for more years to come. Here are some stats that will demonstrate the importance of
including a video in your digital marketing current trends list

Influencer marketing is more of word-of-mouth marketing that concentrates on using an
important leader or personality to amplify the brand to the market. Influencers could be
famous celebrities or YouTubers, Instagramers with great followings who can help spread the
