- Add the following to hosts file:

127.0.0.1 cap.cyberlink.com

- Run Setup Launcher from Setup folder.

- Serial will be by-passed automatically. Content auto bundled into the product,
but installation is custom so you can left them out if you don't like.

- After installation merge the Reg Patch entries.

- Open PowerDirector, if you get asked for serial open keygen, generate one and
paste it to activate, but don't close keygen yet.

- Import a MKV or MP4 media file. When you proceed to codec setup you will be asked
to complete codec activation setup. Choose manual activation. Open up the URL from
activation dialog. URL will be opened in a browser, copy the entire URL back to
keygen and generate your activation code using that URL in keygen. Paste the
generated code back to manual activation dialog and complete codec setup.

- You might have to do the steps in ColorDirector too.

- Run Upgrade Pack as Admin. Click on all 3 there upgrade packs. This will pack
upgrade the package automatically with codec activation retained.
