DEVOPS ENGINEER INTERN

Only candidates who are available for full time internship between January 2022 to July 2022 can

MISSION:
HyperVerge is a fast-growing AI company started by IITians with presence in Palo Alto, Irving,
Bangalore and Ho Chi Minh. Leading Consumer Lenders, Telcos and Financial Services companies
use HyperVerge’s Fintech Platform for customer on-boarding, identity verification, fraud check and
other services.

As a Dev-Ops Engineer Intern, you will help the Engineering and AI team deploy, maintain, ensure
high availability and reliability of the frontend, backend, models for AI products. Your responsibilities
include ensuring successful consumption of HyperVerge technology by customers through the
creation of reliable integration/deployment pipelines, managing services required for successful
functioning of HyperVerge products, managing Infrastructure as Code and other activities that are
considered routine for a standard DevOps Engineer Intern role.

OUTCOMES EXPECTED
1. Product Understanding
a. Interfacing with the customer, technology team members, project managers and other
relevant product people for thorough understanding of the product, use case and business
objective, detailed specification and data flow for the requirement, demonstration of the
concept and clarification of queries.

2. Product Development
a. Collaborate with other AI and Software Development Engineers and help them deploy
at least 4 applications at the scale.
b. Delivering a robust infrastructure for the products and platforms by incorporating
important considerations regarding minimal downtime, high availability, data
redundancy, tight security, etc. into the design
c. Pioneer migration of HyperVerge from VMs to containers and build platform and
supporting services to enable orchestration of the containers via Kubernetes or a
similar platform across multiple products.
d. Manage uptime, reliability and infrastructure for certain platform components and
services required for other products to function eg auth service, central logging
service, atlas etc
e. Manage and Upgrade HyperVerge’s Infrastructure as a Code repositories and enable
the shift for the teams to the same
3. Customer Success
a. Ensuring seamless use of HyperVerge applications by clients or internal teams and
successful integration of client systems with HyperVerge backend and APIs wherever
applicable. Assisting client’s Network and Infra Team with necessary remote and
on-site support needed for smooth understanding of and integration with HyperVerge
products and services
b. Seeking customer feedback to continuously optimize the product for great customer
experience and high technical performance in areas such as hardware efficiency,
latency and throughput.

PREREQUISITES:
● Excellent writing and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are a must
● Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous primary and
secondary research
● Very strong fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) - you will be
required to create presentation decks for top management, drive internal buy-ins through
presentations etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

● Minimum of 80% marks in Higher Secondary


● Minimum of 80% marks in Senior Secondary
● Minimum of 8 CGPA in pursuing degree
