In Hollywood’s Field of Dreams we learned the phrase

“If you build it; they will come.”
But in the real world you need to add-

“If they know about it; and when, where, and how to find it.”
This paper will attempt to explain at a high level the basic steps you could take to
be discovered by your future players.
It well help you get more people interested in your game.
Because our hobby is one based upon the potential for creativity, the depth of the
immersion, and the vigor of the friend community. All of these factors rise
exponentially as the player base grows above certain milestones. In our first
roundtable meeting attended by storytellers from across the world, we identified
that the majority prefer games with 35-65 regular participants and a slight
majority would go even further and say they like the former but they LOVE when
the game reaches 100+ regular participants. Though the need to expand your staff
to maintain an optimal 7 to 1 ratio grows the burden to actively micro-direct scenes
tends to decrease. Players begin to create their own plot, in new and creative ways
as they cluster, emote, and scheme! It’s truly wonderful!

Imagine a Flower growing

Blooming is when you reach the optimal size for your goals. What we are
discussing today is not the kind of flower you choose to grow; but how you can
prepare things such by tilling the land, and by making sure they have the right
amount of sun (ironic for vampires) so that your game to will reach it’s potential.
We’ve even prepared a bunch of easy to deploy high impact resources that you can
modify for your particular group!1)
Running an excellent game should give you excellent word of mouth referrals but
the game’s staff that first lead by example and created a smooth discovery and
Onboarding process signals quite clearly to those loyal who would recommend a
game that indeed they should recommend, and soon so they don’t miss out on the
fun everyone is already having.
