Unit 7- Write an email to your best friend about a country you'd like to visit

Hi Anna How are you? Hope the family’s well. I am 21 years old and study Clinical Psychology
at Catholic University Of Cuenca. I live in Cuenca city with my Family. They are my mom, my
two sisters and my grandmother. I’d like to visit Italy because I’d like to go to island Capri while
I want to learn italian language. In my free time, I like doing excercise at home and I like
watching movies and cooking.

Unit 8- Write an article following the instructions in the photograph below, do the task between 60 to 80
words, no more and no less. Use the word "HOWEVER" at least once in your article.

In my free time, i like watching movies or the serie “greys anatomy” with my boyfriend in zoom, Because
he lives in Guayaquil city, however we have to watch it in our owns devices because of the bad internet.
Also, i like going to the park with my Family and my dogs. They are three: pituza, dante y bella. We
don’t have to take them for a walk every day but i love to do it

I saw Pride & Prejudice at home the last night again. I've watched it two times by now and i love
it so much. It's by director Joe Wright and is based on Jane Austen's 1813 novel. I think is a
beautiful story ,where the old School love and romanticism can be appreciated. I liked all the
actors but my favorite is Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen because they have an
amazing chemistry. I strongly recommend this movie.

I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at home the last Saturday. I’ve watched sereval
times and i love it. It’s by director David Fincher with starring of Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchett.
The movie is about a rare case of a new born child that had a rare illness about his body and
health look like someone of 80 years old. I liked all the actors. I stronly recommend this movie.

Unit 12
Hi Roberto

How you doing? I Heard about you and your mom told me that you want to know about three places to
visit in Cuenca. So, first, you should visit the modern museum. It’s beautiful and free. It’s about art pieces
with different colors and it has a big garden. Secondly, you should take the tranvía. It’s new and you can
appreciate the history centre. Finally, the third place that you should visit is the Turi. This place has a
beautiful view and restaurants.
