Cup. After the World Cup, they were called upon by major clubs like Chelsea, Panathanaikos
(Greece), Basel (Switzerland) and Tottenham.

Three Nigerian players were tested in Sweden

By Mathew LABOISSIERE

Both have 18 years. The age difference between them is only two days. Shehu Sani Ogenyi Onazi and
Emmanuel were born in Nigeria in 1992. The two began the career in the capital, Lagos, My People by FC,
founded in 2008 by Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua (Joshua TB).

The aim of the club's owner is exactly new talent for the local football, as he says: "I strongly believe that the
young need to grow. They may not be here today, but the future of this country belongs to them. This is a job
that does not seek monetary gain, "he said in an interview.

Quality
And Joshua Project has been working, at least for the athletes mentioned above. Emmanuel Sani Onazi and
soon gained prominence in the matches in tournament divisions and received the basic proposal for a 3rd
Division club in Sweden, Bodens FK - in 2009, was only one team in Division 4.

The trip was sponsored by the African Joshua, through his television channel (TV Emmanuel), who contacted
the director of the Bodens, Ingemar Ek. The young players were on Scandinavian soil for about three months
just because the visa was not approved them. Still, while they were there, the star of both continued to
maximum brightness.

Striker Emmanuel Sani scored nine of 21 goals in just ten matches of the youth team of the Bodens, champion
of Internet Bay Cup midfielder Onazi've also scored nine times and was the top scorer of the tournament. The
success of Nigerians in Europe resulted in summonses for the under-17 squad of the Super Eagles. Yet it was in
April 2009 and both were looking at 16 years.

World Cup

The life of Onazi Sani and also seemed to be very blessed. At the moment they began to tread the path in the
under-17 selection, Nigeria would face the World Cup of the category, as host of the tournament.

Leveraging the support of the fans, the Nigerians did a great championship, with highlight to Emmanuel Sani,
who scored five goals and was voted best athlete of the tournament (Golden Ball), and has been one of the
goalscorers (adidas Silver) - Onazi performance was more discreet and not rocked the networks. However, the
strong Swiss, with the assistance of "foreigners," Nigeria won the grand final and lifted the cup.

Foreign interest
On March 27, 2010, it was reported that Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea, two big clubs in England were
interested in hiring the two stars at once. At the time, TB Joshua, who was also patron of the players, said he
would like to have a longer relationship with the club to hire them. Means: Nigerian route to conduct tests at the
club, plus donation of training materials and uniforms to My People FC.

Onazi Sani and Emmanuel came to do tests on English clubs but were not approved. Panathinaikos (Greece)
also offered the opportunity. On September 24, 2010, there they were landing at the airport and were greeted by
30 members of the Church of which Joshua belonged, which was headquartered in Athens.
In an interview at the time, a local newspaper, Sami said it was a great opportunity to play a big club like
Panathinaikos, ideal for starting a career in Europe. However, shortly after the two were not approved and
returned to Lagos.

Opportunity
Today, March 30, 2011, Emmanuel Sani Onazi and get the golden chance of their careers. Lazio, one of the
biggest clubs in Italy, the Brazilian Hernanes (ex-São Paulo) has announced the hiring of both.

It is the first professional bond of Nigerians who are in the capital Rome since December 2010. Who brokered
the deal was the former defender of the Nigerian and Milan and Internazionale, Taribo West.

Onazi, indeed, now seems more promising than Sani Emmanuel. The midfielder has played for Viareggio
Tournament, a major divisions based competition, which has the support of UEFA and FIFA - Gremio Football
Club and Rudder participated in the 2010 edition. He has already notched up a goal, but was only on loan from
FC My People, at the time.

There are rumors that Onazi can even make his debut in the main team of Lazio at the next game of Calcio in
Serie A, against the mighty Napoli in Naples. Both still compete in the Champions League place 2011-12.

But still no matter Onazi - and neither Sani Emmanuel - take the field at this time, the team principal. But since
the 2011-12 season, both will have to show some action to help the national team itself, devoid of good parts.

It's like your own TB Joshua said, "They may not be here today, but the future of this country belongs to them."
Does Onazi Sami and Emmanuel will lead the comeback for the Super Eagles (name of the selection)? Only the
future will tell!
