Because we need to prepare for what we expected to encounter, knowing and being aware is a

significant benefit for us, because knowing ahead of time may give us time to prepare while
also giving us something to focus on. We have been trained to prioritize things since we were
Freshmen students. For example, in the nursing process, we were taught the A-B-C format,
which stands for Airway, Breathing, and Circulation, so that as future nurses, we would know
what to prioritize. Similarly, being aware of and understanding the healthcare situation will
provide us with items to prioritize. And if we know how to prioritize properly, we will be able to
provide the high-quality care that our future patients need. Going through a war without being
prepared is most likely losing. that is why knowing and understanding healthcare situations is
very much important when it comes to the roles and functions we are expected to perform.
