“CYBERBULLY”

Cyber bullying is not a joke

Yet no one does a thing

They let it happen constantly

And I feel the pain that stings

There are wounded people,

Waiting for just some love,

There are crying people

And decide that maybe life

isn’t worth living anymore

cyber bullying must be stopped

we are not all strong enough

and this is not good

so never involve in bullying.

- The purpose of this poem is to encourage everyone that cyber bullying can
cause a person to have low self-esteem. Think before you speak and act.
You never know the effect of this on someone.

QUESTION: What are your views on how millennial are adapting skills in today’s
generation? What are the difference when it comes to the attitude towards work
of the teachers then and the teachers now? State your reason objectively based
from your own observation.

Millennial’s have grown up in an era of constant change. In order to make it in this

unpredictable world, the millennial generation has had to learn to adapt. Millennial are
able to perform well under the pressure even with unknown outcomes. The adaptability
of this generation can be seen on many different levels from their ability to quickly
master new technologies to embracing new ideas or processes.

Education system was change after the generation of millennial has emerged in the
society. Teachers then were mostly not millennial teaching through different methods
compared to teachers nowadays. Teaching materials are limited to chalkboards and
some visual aids. They are also more physical in disciplining their students. However,
teachers nowadays are composed of mostly millennial. They are the students of the
previous generation. They are now implementing the new ways of teaching they’ve
never experienced before.

REFLECTION WRITING #1

As a pre-service teacher, what do you think are the different roles of technology in
media and how it affects communication? How can technology assist you in the delivery
of lessons to your students?

ANSWER:

Technology truly helped in day to day communication and sharing of information

especially nowadays. Technology also have a big role in media. Technology secure
classified data that is limited for public and more. It also gathers more specific and
reliable data, create a wide source of information in different fields and disseminate
information in a fast and efficient way.

As a future educator, these technologies will help me in terms of education especially

this time of pandemic. Through technology, I can communicate to my students even
though where they are? The lessons that I need to deliver to my students will be sent
them through messenger and face book. My students will be able to search in google
and other application site if they have a clarification. Through this technology, education
will remain strong. Without these new inventions, our world will remain stagnant, and
there would be no hope for the human race.

REFLECTION WRITING #2

As a pre-service teacher, how much do you know about the internet? How can
you optimize the use of internet in your learning as student and teaching
strategies as future teacher?

As a future teacher, internet for me have a big role in my life. I know that internet
is a room of different websites having the purpose of giving learning and knowledge
about a certain topic or thing. Internet helps me to answer the questions that I wanted to
know. It serves as an avenue where I could cultivate all the additional information which
I really need to know. Moreover, I also believe that internet truly helped in day to day
communication and sharing of information especially nowadays.

However, it can also be a room for spreading fake information. It’s hard to identify
whether what we read is a factual or fake. That’s why, as a student and a future
educator, optimizing the use of internet in gaining my learning is a very important point
that I must always remember. Someday, I will be the one who will be the source of
information for my future students, so that is the reason why should I need for me to
know the right information that I will going to share to my class. First, I must Looking for
trusted websites that offers wide range of related sources is a vital necessity to check
whether the article is true. Another important thing is that checking the validity of the
websites or the author of the article I am going to read. Reviewing the website’s
qualification to publish certain article can give me insights about their reliability. Lastly, I
will not stick to only one website in gathering information; instead, I will visit more
websites as I could.

Internet truly helps our life become easier and faster. Without these new
inventions like this internet, our world will remain stagnant, and there would be no hope
for the human race.

REFLECTION WRITING #4

As a pre-service teacher, how do you look at the press freedom being implored by the
Social Media? What do you think are the do’s and don’ts in making use of various
media?

As a future educator, press freedom is very important for to us especially for me. Social
media is one of the most popular wherein people can share their articles and their concerns
regarding important issues especially about the government. It became our tool in order to
achieve and be able to employ the freedom in publishing news and other. Social media is a
gateway on improving peoples’ awareness in such issue happening within the country or the
entire world.

However, with the advancement of publishing and spreading news through social media,
the rampancy of having fake and unreliable news is getting bigger problem. We cannot be able
to easily identify whether the news or the information we are reading is factual or the source
where we get such information is reliable. As a future teacher, I have a great responsibility to be
part of the global change in handling correctly the social media especially the information we get
from it.

Furthermore, as social media platform users, it is our duty to be vigilant to examine the
information we are reading. Think about it deeply whether it is true or wrong. We must not
spread the news without verifying its credibility.

In making use of social media first, be wise enough to use it. We must have an adequate
knowledge and understanding on the use of the social media in our life. We must know its
functions and guidelines.

Another thing is that, be a responsible social media user. We must not post anything that
is annoying to people or can cause harm to other users. Avoid posting any information that is
not being tested its credibility.

Lastly, know your purpose of using social media. You must always keep in mind that you
made your social media accounts for your own sake and for a good purpose. Don’t ever use
social media in a wrong way.

Social media plays an important role in every student’s life like me. It is often
easier and more convenient to access information and provide information and
communicate via social media.

REFLECTION WRITING #5

As a pre-service teacher, what do you think are the importance of news in the millennial
generation? How should you react upon listening to these news?

As a future educator and one of the part of today’s generation, I need to know and I have
a right to know for what happening in our world.

. The importance of having news in the millennial generation is that they can be able to
be aware from all the issues and concerns that needs to be addressed within the country or the
entire world. News serves as a guiding tool for every millennial to know the current trends that
will serve as their basis on thinking about new techniques that will suit to any changes that
happens.

Reacting to the different news requires an adequate understanding. As a pre-service

teacher, I am not easily believes the news that I read. I examine it further whether information
presented are factual or not. Knowing the credibility and reliability of the publisher of the certain
article is a great aid in realizing my intent on knowing the truthfulness of the news.

This meme shows the importance of social media over review. We are currently
facing the pandemic. The system of education was changed and we are now in a
new normal class which is modular and online classes. Some students nowadays
have different style by attending their online classes. Some students escape the
important task, instead of doing their activities, they scrolling their phone and
gaming. Some students are trying to learn and some students are difficult to
access due to slow internet connection.

However, because of social media, tutors and students can be connected to each
other and can make good use these platforms for the benefit of their learning and
