• Of the questions attempted, the answers to only the first required number of questions (as stipulated
in the question paper) will be evaluated. So please do not attempt extra questions.

• Only HAND WRITTEN answer scripts (using black or blue ink) on A4 size sheets will be
considered.
• Answer in your own words as far as practicable, writing legibly the answers.
• On top of each page the following information should be entered by the student:
Student Name, Roll No., Room No., Subject, Paper Code, Date and Page Number
• Students will be writing legibly their answers, scanning them and sending the entire answer script
as one PDF file using MS FORMS, ONLY. The scanned answer scripts should have enough
clarity to enable evaluation.
• Name the PDF file accurately as indicated.

Part A (30 marks)


Answer ANY FIVE of the following: [5×6=30]
1. Draft a notice for the Annual General Meeting of Satyam International Pvt. Ltd. (35,
Cathedral Road, Mumbai- 400012). Attach an agenda with at least 5 points.
2. Draft the minutes of the management committee meeting of Bharti Enterprises (81,
Esplanade Avenue, Kolkata – 700018).
3. Draft an advertisement for a senior operations manager at JSW International (25, Andheri
Road, Mumbai- 400051) with necessary details.
4. Draft a press release on behalf of a popular clothing store in Kolkata launching a new
collection and offers on the occasion of Diwali.
5. Draft a notice inviting tenders for the construction of a government employees housing
complex in North 24 Paraganas on behalf of the Chief Engineer, Buildings and Housing
department, Government of West Bengal.
6. As Mr. Anand Varma, draft a letter to the branch manager of SMI Bank (25, Arcot Road,
Chennai – 600025) applying for a bank loan to start a new restaurant. Provide all
necessary details.
7. Differentiate between verbal and non-verbal communication. Mention at least 5 points.
