REASONS FOR CHOOSING THIS PROGRAM

I can still recall many incidents that I used to hear from my father during my teenage. Being a
policeman, he was responsible for maintaining the law and order of the city . Some of the traits were
visible in my day-to-day activities and dealings. Unlike other teenagers, I was always fascinated by the
crime stories and thrillers. Always dream of doing something relevant to this I opted to do my higher
studies with this as my career choice

After completing my high school, I decided to opt for Bachelors in Police administration. In 2017, I was
able to succeed in completing this course with flying colours scoring first division (65%). It was my
keen interest that inspired me to pursue my Masters in Police Administration. I was able to graduate
with 67%. Concepts related to Indian Police administrations, Indian Constitution, theories of
Administration. My project work/thesis in Masters is related to Law enforcement. I was involved in
various freelancing activities related to my studies.

During my masters I was heavily involved in the studies of the Constitution of India. I found that this
could be the perfect area where I can pursue my career further. On searching the web, I came across
the course “LEGAL STUDIES " from “Justice Institute of British Columbia”. The courses like Conducting
Investigations, Collecting Forensic Evidence will help me in make my concepts more clear about Laws.

Canada is the destination to the one of the top ranked institution of the world. Personally, I like the
multi- cultural society of the country where people from the different backgrounds and believe are
accepted with open hands. Canada is the dream location for international students and it is the
opportunity to understand the different mindsets, experience, and knowledge from each other.

Choosing the course and the college was not an easy task for me but “Justice Institute of British
Columbia” will be the perfect choice for me. The college is in New Westminster, British Columbia,
Canada. Legal studies is the best course for applied ethics and which helps in rewarding careers in law
implementation and security.
