The given bar chart compares the market share of 5 different consumer

goods in France and UK in 2001.


Overall, it was UK that derived the most sales from all products during
the period given. Additionally, perfume and cameras were the least
profitable consumer goods as compared to the others.
With regard to cars, people in the UK spent over 450.000 pounds,
50.000 pounds higher than that of the French. Likewise, the British
attracted more sales from books (over 400.000 pounds) as opposed to
France. The sales figure of cameras in France was 150.000 pounds,
which was lower than half of the money spent in the UK throughout
2010.
Computers, on the other hand, were the second most sold goods in
France, with roughly 400.000 pounds compared to the French at
350.000 pounds. In addition, the respective expenditure of 200.00 and
roughly 150.000 pounds from France and the UK was allocated to
perfume in the given year.
