Precautions when recording a time of a simple pendulum

When recording the time, the person should repeat the practical 3 times and take
the average of three to prevent a wrong value. The person should also start the
stopwatch from the fraducial point where the eye should be level with. The
person must not start the stopwatch as we leave the pendulum and only after it
has swung 3 times. We wait and then start recording time. There must also not be
any air resistance or wind in the surrounding. The person must also take the time
of 20 oscillations and then divide the number of oscillations to find the time taken
for one oscillation.
