 Abstract

There are five types of Information Systems; there's the transaction processing system,

office information system, decision support system, management information system (MIS), and

the expert system. In this text I talk about how the Management Information System is used in

both McDonald’s and Burger King. A management information system is a system that uses

information to help managers and other users make decisions and solve problems. MIS generates

three types of information; detailed information, summary information, and exception

information.
