Decrease Poverty in Eastern Indonesia Through

Education

Abstract— poverty is a big issue in developing countries,


including Indonesia. Most of Indonesians who live in the east of
Indonesia are still below the poverty line. This can be seen from the
literacy rate of people in eastern Indonesia which is still very low.
This study aims to show the effect of education greeting the problem
of poverty that occurred in eastern Indonesia. It is expected that the
research can provide solutions to related parties in reducing poverty
problems. This research uses quantitative and collaborative with
numbering approach. The results of this study indicate the effect of
education on increasing income per capita, it can reduce poverty and
increase the economic growth.
