Girl Up Fellowship: A chance to give in return to life what I owe

As stated in first essay, I am fortunate enough to pursue my LL.B. after which I am

aspiring to complete my LLM in Public International Law from one of the best universities of
US or UK so that I can argue before International Court of Justice/ International Criminal
Court/ Human Rights Courts on behalf of refugees, undermined or suppressed innocent
people in order to protect their fundamental and human rights. My dream is to represent my
Country in UN assembly, a Country who protects and uplifts the rights of undermined and
suppressed people.

As a girl I want to change the societal paradigm towards women so that next generation
girls, women will not have to endure the hardships I went through. I want to be instrumental
in making this world a better place for women to live with dignity, self-esteem and equal
treatment like men, something which I really strive for.

Through this fellowship, a small village girl with big aspiration to make a positive
substantial difference instrumental in accomplishing gender equality, women empowerment
and in protecting and uplifting rights of suppressed people, will get a chance to be a part of
this revolutionary movement of justice and a chance to give in return to her life what she
owes.
