Adverbs of frequency- good and taboo questions coin game Choose normal questions to ask a

classmate. After you choose, you’ll flip a coin to decide if you can ask that to someone else (heads) or if
you have to answer it yourself (tails), so be careful to avoid taboo questions/ questions which you would
not like to answer yourself.  Do you come here often?  Do you ever do DIY?  Do you ever give
PowerPoint presentations?  Do you ever feel crazy?  Do you ever listen to English music?  Do you
ever play smartphone games?  Do you ever oversleep?  Do you ever still pay with cash?  Do you ever
still send faxes?  Do you often eat out?  Do you often get spam?  Do you often go the cinema?  Do
you often use social media?  Do you sometimes forget to do your homework?  How often do you
brush your teeth?  How often do you change your hairstyle?  How often do you change your socks? 
How often do you clean your house?  How often do you cook?  How often do you do housework? 
How often do you do overtime?  How often do you drink (alcohol)?  How often do you eat sweets? 
How often do you have a hangover?  How often do you have a shower?  How often do you have Zoom
meetings?  How often do you look after your children?  How often do you meet up with your

the evening? Ask about any questions you don’t understand, can’t answer, are not sure if they are taboo
or not, etc. Then brainstorm good small talk questions starting with “Do you ever (still)…?”, “Do you
often…?”, “Do you sometimes…?”, “How often do you…?”, etc.
