Bloom Taxonomy

Bloom taxonomy is a hierarchical structure that identifies skills ranging from low to high
levels. It can be concluded that bloom taxonomy is a learning objective.

Bloom taxonomy there are 3 domains of intellectual ability:


1. Cognitive domains
Cognitive domains order thinking skills according to the expected goals, knowledge
and comprehension of learning materials.
2. Efective domains
Application and analysis of learning materials.
3. Psychomotor domains.
Able to use his knowledge to do synthesis and evaluation .

Use of bloom taxonomy


The task of a teacher is to hold the right keywords in explaining the objectives of the
learning program.

Steps for using bloom taxonomy


1. Determine learning objectives.
2. Determine learning competencies.
3. Determine the intellectual ability domain that is in accordance with the learning
competence.
4. Use the appropriate keywords.
