Case Study – HR Recruitments

Shivansh works in an IT Firm in Gurgaon, India. It’s a large organization with around 20,000
employees across India. Firm has got aggressive plans of expansion and so is hiring at a fast pace.
Organization hires freshers and experienced people both. Actions have been happening rapidly
and firm needs to analyze its recruitment activities so as to ensure that hiring is inline with the
goals defined by the organization. Shivansh works in the HR Recruitment Analytics department
of the firm. He has to present insights from the data of the candidates hired for the current
financial year YTD and as well as in some reference to previous three years in the form of a
dashboard / storyboard.
Shivansh knows that it’s very important to understand the expectations of various stakeholders
regarding what they are looking for in his analysis. Shivansh schedules meetings with various
stakeholders and notes down their expectations. Basis expectations, he lists down the critical
things to cover in the dashboard.

All the above information should be viewable for all the Financial Years separately as well as
combined.
Shivansh collects data available from various resources and consolidates the same in an Excel
sheet. This sheet contains data for all the FY 2016, FY 2017 and FY 2018.
